What this site logs

This is a catalogue of static pages. There is no account to make, no basket and nothing to fill in.

What we hold

Nothing you have not sent us. We do not ask for a name, an address or a card, because there is nothing here to buy. If you write to the address on the contact page we hold that message and the address it came from, for as long as it takes to answer you and a while after in case you write again.

What the host sees

The pages are served by a hosting provider that keeps ordinary technical records: the address a request came from, the page asked for, the time, the browser string. That is how any web server works and it is what keeps the site up. We use it in aggregate to see which pages are read.

When you follow a link out

The buttons on the case pages take you to a listing at our retail partner, and the link carries a code that tells them the visit came from here. That is how a commission is attributed. Once you are on their site you are under their privacy terms, not ours, and what they collect is between you and them.

Cookies

We do not set advertising cookies and we do not run trackers that follow you elsewhere. Your browser may keep the usual local storage that any site uses to load faster. Clearing it costs you nothing here.

Changing your mind

Write to [email protected] and ask for a message thread to be deleted and it will be. There is nothing else of yours to delete.
